All derby proceeds go to help the YK girl guides
This year almost $6000 in proceeds generated by the derby were donated to the Yellowknife Girl Guides troop, to help refurbish their on the land camp at Prelude Lake, Camp Dechinta.

This doesn't happen without tonnes of support
In order to make these events a success, we need help and support from the local business community. All prizes, misc items required for the derby, and several logistical items were provided as donations from the Yellowknife business community. Summit Air has been a major contributor since the beginning, here our “kiss the fish” winner and some friends board a Summit Airways plane for a trip to remember!
